Mimian Morales is a New York-based actor, writer, and singer-songwriter. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, she has long been exposed to scent (Nenuco, anyone?) but her current obsession began 9 years ago when she read Patrick Süskind’s novel Perfume: The Story of a Murderer.
Mimian holds a BA in Theatre from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Master’s in Strategic Communication from Columbia University, where her thesis focused on beauty subscription boxes.
She occasionally writes about fragrance on her blog Exercises in Vague.
Emmanuelle Varron, a 3rd generation Parisian, has been a perfumista since the age of 7. She was introduced to “niche” in the late 70's as a child, with L'Artisan Parfumeur Pomme Cannelle and Vanille Bourbon, then as an adult in 1993 when Serge Lutens opened its famous Palais-Royal boutique. Since then, Emmanuelle accumulated many fragrances that she keeps as treasures. She loves all genres of fragrances, but big white florals and tuberose perfumes are her favorites.
Emmanuelle was one of Ça Fleure Bon's first contributors when it launched in 2010, and after a few years concentrating on being a Media Manager for French rugby, she is back as an Editor, sharing her love for vintage and new fragrances, mostly from French brands.
Art, gastronomy, cosmetics and skincare are the other passions she shares on her blog, Mon Bazar Unlimited, and on her Instagram @monbazarunlimited.
